Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has extended heartfelt greetings to the Presidents of Congo, Somalia, Burundi, and Rwanda, as well as the Governor General of Canada, on their respective national occasions, strengthening diplomatic ties and fostering international goodwill.
According to Oman News Agency, His Majesty sent a cable of greetings to President Felix Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of Congo on the occasion of the country’s Independence Anniversary. In his message, the Sultan expressed his best wishes for Congo’s continued progress, development, and stability under President Tshisekedi’s leadership. He also expressed hopes for further growth in bilateral relations, serving the mutual interests of both nations.
In a similar gesture, His Majesty extended his greetings to President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of the Federal Republic of Somalia, marking Somalia’s National Day. The Sultan conveyed his sincere wishes for President Hassan’s success in achieving the aspirations of his people, and for the advancement of bilateral relations in all spheres.
His Majesty also reached out to President ‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬¦¡¬°variste Ndayishimiye of the Republic of Burundi, sending a cable of greetings on Burundi’s National Day. Additionally, His Majesty sent a message to President Paul Kagame of the Republic of Rwanda on the occasion of Rwanda’s National Day. The Sultan expressed his best wishes for President Kagame’s success in fulfilling the aspirations of his people for progress, stability, and growth.
Finally, His Majesty extended greetings to Governor-General Mary Simon of Canada on Canada’s National Day. In his message, he expressed sincere sentiments and wished Canada prosperity and growth. The Sultan also emphasized the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation and partnerships in various fields to benefit the peoples of both nations.
