Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik paid a private fraternal visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and met with Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, at His Royal Highness's residence in Jeddah. The meeting emphasized the longstanding fraternal relations between Oman and Saudi Arabia and discussed pathways for advancement in mutual interests across various sectors. The leaders also shared perspectives on regional and international developments, aiming for de-escalation and peace to secure the interests and economies of both nations.
According to Oman News Agency, the meeting included several high-ranking officials from both sides. The Omani delegation comprised HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, and other key ministers. The Saudi side included Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud, Minister of Energy, and other prominent figures. His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, along with senior officials, welcomed and saw off His Majesty the Sultan at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
