Muscat: HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, received Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, at Al Murtafaa Camp today. The meeting was attended by HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth.

According to Oman News Agency, an official reception was held for Sheikh Hamdan upon his arrival at the Ministry of Defence headquarters, where a guard of honour saluted him. HH Sayyid Shihab welcomed the Crown Prince, expressing wishes for a successful visit.

The discussions centered around the relations between Oman and the UAE, focusing on topics of common interest and military cooperation between the defence ministries of both nations. The aim was to explore ways to strengthen these ties.

The meeting was also attended by Dr. Mohammed bin Nassir Al Zaabi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence, and Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces.
