Kuala Lumpur: HH Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tarik Al Said, the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, met with Bui Thanh Son, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Vietnam, in Kuala Lumpur today.
According to Oman News Agency, the discussions were held on the sidelines of the ASEAN-GCC Summit and the ASEAN-GCC-China Summit. The meeting focused on reviewing and enhancing the bilateral relations between Oman and Vietnam, exploring avenues to strengthen cooperation across various sectors.
Both leaders exchanged perspectives on regional and global issues, addressing the topics listed in the agenda of the two summits. The dialogue underscored the commitment of both nations to collaborate on mutual interests and tackle shared challenges.
The meeting witnessed the participation of members from HH Sayyid Asa’ad’s delegation and Vietnamese officials, indicating the importance both countries place on these strategic discussions.
