Baghdad,The head of the Popular Mobilization Commission, Faleh Al-Fayyad, said, “We will carry out all duties towards the Palestinians, whether at the level of aid or at the military level.”

Al-Fayad affirmed, according to a statement to the Commission’s media, “It is impossible for Iraq to be a starting point for harming the Palestinians, but rather it will be a starting point for supporting them, and Tawafan Al-Aqsa operation showed that it is a shaky entity.”

He added, "The project to displace the population of Gaza is miserable and cannot be implemented. What the resistance is doing is a response to the crimes of the occupation, and America is an essential partner of the occupation."

He continued, "We are the main support in supporting the resistance, and Iraq will not allow America to support the occupation against the Palestinians."

Al-Fayad pointed out that “the consequences of what happened in Gaza are great and its results will appear soon, especially on the issue of normalization.”
