Head of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice: We will approve these proposals at the government palace meeting in Baghdad

The Arab Justice Ministers Council revealed the results of the work of the 72nd session of its Executive Office, which began in the capital, Baghdad, today, Sunday, in preparation for the meeting of Justice Ministers in the government palace tomorrow, Monday.

The Chairman of the Council, Moroccan Minister of Justice Abdel Latif Wehbe, said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) today, Sunday, from Baghdad, that “the meeting of members of the Executive Office discussed a number of files, including activating memorandums of cooperation and prisoner exchange agreements, but we have not signed them yet, as well as the drug file.” There are indicative agreements that will be discussed.”

He explained, “The Executive Office meeting is a technical meeting that does not discuss political issues, as well as the events of military operations in the Gaza Strip, which were presented for discussion during the recent meeting of the Council of Arab Foreign Ministers.”

He added, "We have reached a package of recommendations and proposals that will be presented at the meeting of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice inside the government palace in the center of the capital, Baghdad," indicating that "the meeting of Arab Ministers of Justice tomorrow, Monday, will approve the decisions and proposals that we discussed today in the meeting of members of the Executive Office related to guiding issues and a work program of the Arab Center for Legal and Judicial Research./End
