Gaza strip: A Palestinian official revealed to Sky News Arabia on Saturday the conditions Hamas has set for accepting a prisoner exchange deal and a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the movement is demanding that its political bureau and members not be harmed abroad. It also requests that its assets not be confiscated, withheld, or subjected to restrictions abroad.
Hamas also insists on the presence of representatives of the movement in the Gaza administration and elements affiliated with it or close to it in the future security of the Gaza Strip. This is in addition to an American guarantee to end the war and to explore ways to implement this during the ceasefire period expected to conclude the deal, which is expected to last 70 days.
The source reported that Washington has expressed its agreement to serve as a guarantor for ending the war, while giving Israel freedom of military action if the truce ends without an agreement.
