Muscat: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister of Oman, today received Dr. Fuad Hussein, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation between Oman and Iraq to secure mutual interests and yield greater benefits for the people of both nations.
According to Oman News Agency, the discussion between Sayyid Badr and Dr. Fuad also covered regional and international developments. Both ministers emphasized the importance of ongoing coordination and consultation to bolster efforts in consolidating regional security, stability, and peace. They advocated for peaceful solutions, dialogue, diplomacy, and respect for the sovereignty of countries and international law principles.
The meeting was also attended by Qais Saad Al Amri, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Oman, along with other officials from both countries.
