Muscat: A telephone conversation was held today between Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister of Foreign, and Maxime Pr©vot, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Development Cooperation of the Kingdom of Belgium. The call took place within the framework of the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries.
According to Oman News Agency, during the call, Sayyid Badr welcomed the Belgian government's decision to open an embassy for the Kingdom of Belgium in the Sultanate of Oman. The establishment of the embassy is considered a significant step in strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between Oman and Belgium.
The two ministers discussed several developments and exchanged views on them. The conversation emphasized the importance of diplomatic engagement and collaboration on various international issues. The Belgian Minister expressed his country's support for Omani mediation efforts and all diplomatic tracks aimed at achieving security and stability in the region.
