Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, engaged in diplomatic activities today by receiving a copy of the credentials of Maulidah Bwanakheir Hassan, the Ambassador-designate of the United Republic of Tanzania to the Sultanate of Oman. Sayyid Badr extended a warm welcome to the new ambassador, expressing his hopes for her success in her new role and the continued enhancement of bilateral relations between Oman and Tanzania. Concurrently, he bid farewell to Alfredo Cesar Martinho, the outgoing Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil, marking the end of his diplomatic mission in Oman.
According to Oman News Agency, during his meeting with Ambassador Martinho, Sayyid Badr conveyed his appreciation for the ambassador's efforts in bolstering the ties between Oman and Brazil. He wished Martinho success in his future endeavors, acknowledging the positive impact of his contributions to the diplomatic relationship.
Present at both meetings were Ambassador Najib bin Yahya Al Balushi, Head of the Protocols Department at the Foreign Ministry, and several officials from both the Omani and Tanzanian sides.
