Foreign Minister Engages in Talks with Kyrgyz Counterpart on Cooperation and Global Issues

Muscat: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, engaged in a telephone conversation with Jeenbek Kulubaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic. The discussion focused on enhancing cooperation across multiple fields to serve the mutual interests of both nations.

According to Oman News Agency, the conversation included an exchange of views on regional and international issues of mutual concern. Both ministers emphasized the importance of continued coordination and consultation. They expressed support for efforts aimed at consolidating security and stability and stressed the need for dialogue and understanding among nations.

Sayyid Badr extended his congratulations to Jeenbek Kulubaev on Kyrgyzstan's recent election as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the next two years. He conveyed his hopes for Kyrgyzstan's success in fulfilling this international role, contributing to efforts in maintaining international peace and security, and reinforcing the rules of international law and the principles of the UN Charter.
