Foreign Minister and UAE Counterpart Hold Fraternal Consultations

Abu dhabi: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, held fraternal consultations with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Prime Deputy Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), during a meeting in Abu Dhabi today.

According to Oman News Agency, the discussions covered a range of recent regional developments and issues, exploring avenues for constructive engagement. This dialogue supports broader efforts to forge consensus and develop effective approaches aimed at strengthening collective security and regional stability, safeguarding common interests, and delivering benefits that fulfill the aspirations of the region's peoples.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to the path of the Gulf Cooperation Council and joint Gulf action. They emphasized the continuation of bilateral and collective cooperation programs, undertaken in accordance with the enlightened vision and wise directives of Their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the GCC states.
