Muscat:The Ministry of Finance is organizing workshops for over 48 government entities to discuss the procedures for the 2026 annual inventory of government assets. These workshops will introduce the mechanisms for conducting the inventory electronically using the National Register of Government Assets system, known as "Osool."
According to Oman News Agency, the workshops aim to explain the process for conducting the physical inventory of assets, as well as the procedures for electronically registering, documenting, and tracking inventory results. This initiative is intended to improve data accuracy and enhance the efficiency of inventory follow-up.
These efforts are part of the Ministry of Finance's broader strategy to improve the quality of government asset data, enhance management efficiency, and optimize asset utilization to support effective decision-making.
