Brussels, The High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said that the International Court of Justice's (ICJ) advisory opinion on the occupied Palestinian territory is largely consistent with EU positions. In his statement, Borrell added, "In a world of increasing violations of international law, it is our moral duty to reaffirm our unwavering commitment to all ICJ decisions." The EU's foreign policy chief said that the ICJ's advisory opinion requires more careful analysis, including its implications on EU policy.
