Muscat: Indian police have confirmed that 11 people died after several vehicles collided in the Deramandganj area of ??Mirzapur city in Uttar Pradesh state.

According to Oman News Agency, the accident involved two trucks and two cars on a descending road from Dramandganj towards the Lasuda area. Police disclosed this information to local media today.

Police and fire crews rushed to the scene and began search and rescue operations. An investigation has been opened to determine the cause and circumstances of the crash.
