Muscat: The Authority for Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (Riyada) today organized a dialogue session on social protection services for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The session aimed to shed light on various aspects of social protection, including insurance coverage, subscriptions to the Social Protection Fund, and other incentives available to SMEs.
According to Oman News Agency, the session was designed to foster partnerships between SMEs and both public and private sectors, while also raising awareness about the pivotal role of SMEs services in bolstering the national economy. The event brought together a diverse group of participants, including Halima Rashid Al Zar’ai, Chairperson of the SMEs Authority. Also in attendance were officials from the Social Protection Fund, representatives from related parties, and owners of SMEs.
This gathering underscored the importance of collaborative efforts in enhancing the support structures available to SMEs, which are considered vital to economic growth and stability.
