Al buraimi: Development projects worth more than RO 6 million are being implemented during 2026 in Al Buraimi Governorate's wilayats of Al Buraimi, Mahdah, and Al Sunaina. The projects reflect a keenness to develop infrastructure, service facilities, and tourist destinations in the governorate.
According to Oman News Agency, the projects are scheduled to generate added value by improving the urban landscape, raising the efficiency of services, enhancing investment, and providing high-quality facilities that meet the needs of the community.
Projects that contribute to supporting economic development and activating the tourism sector in the governorate include an artificial lake project, which is being developed at a cost of RO 1.8 million. Additionally, there are service projects such as streets, parking lots, fountains, walkways, and seating areas.
Furthermore, Al Buraimi Municipality is developing a One Stop project at a cost of RO 80,000. This initiative aims to convert Injaz Hall into an integrated center for serving visitors.
