Muscat: Represented by the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), the Ministry of Defence today signed an agreement for emergency air support with OQ Exploration and Production Company (OQEP) for the offshore concession area of Bukha Platforms in Musandam Governorate. The agreement aims to enhance coordination and readiness for emergency situations in the strategic area of Musandam.

According to Oman News Agency, the agreement was signed on behalf of the Ministry of Defence by Air Commodore Zahran Nasser Ambusaidi, Chief of Staff Officer of the Royal Air Force of Oman, and Dr. Ibrahim Saleh Al Saleh, OQ Exploration and Production Company’s Executive Director for Musandam Sector. This partnership highlights the commitment of both parties to ensure the safety and security of operations within the region.
