Muscat:The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, through the Literary Forum and in partnership with Muscat College, held a specialized event called "Employing Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Resources."

According to Oman News Agency, the event, presented by Dr. Arabi Madbouli, aimed to highlight the digital transformations in the global scientific research system and explore their applications locally.

The event's goals included providing insights into the effective use of artificial intelligence technologies within scientific repositories and resources. It also included a review of practical applications and solutions to support researchers and academics in various stages of scientific research.

Participants were empowered to understand AI's significant role in enhancing scientific production quality and development. The event also focused on developing research skills for efficient access to sources and references and training on using smart tools for accurate analysis and critique of studies.

Additionally, the event aimed to help researchers develop literature reviews, identify research gaps, verify information validity, and understand ethical and responsible technology use in academia.
