Chairman of Strategic, Defence Studies Academy Receives Saudi Military Delegation

Bait Al Falaj: Maj. Gen Hamid Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies, welcomed a delegation from King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz College for Command and Staff of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s National Guard at his office today. The meeting took place at Bait Al Falaj Camp, where the two parties explored a range of topics, primarily focusing on academic fields of mutual interest.

According to Oman News Agency, the meeting was attended by several senior officers from the Academy of Strategic and Defense Studies. The visiting Saudi delegation also took the opportunity to visit the Joint Command and Staff College (CSC) at the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies. Brigadier Saif Hamad Al Yousefi, Commandant of the CSC, welcomed the delegation and provided a presentation on the college’s curricula, training, and educational programs. The delegation also toured the college’s facilities and departments.

In addition, the delegation visited the National Defence College (NDC) at the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies in Bait Al Falaj Camp. Brigadier Mansoor Ali Al Amri, Acting Commandant of the NDC, greeted the visitors and briefed them on the college’s strategic curricula. They also took a tour of the NDC’s departments and facilities, gaining insight into its educational offerings.
