Basra operations control a clan conflict and arrest the most prominent perpetrators in the north of the province

The Basra Operations Command announced today, Sunday, that it had taken control of a clan conflict north of Basra.

The Command stated in a statement, “After the rapid and immediate intervention by the heroes of the 2nd Commando Regiment of our Command, it was able to fully control the situation in Al-Deir district, north of the governorate.

It added, “One of the most prominent parties involved in the conflict, who is wanted by the courts, was arrested and seized with two rifles and grenades.”/ End
