Turkey announced on Monday that the Iraqi-Turkish oil pipeline is ready for operation.

The Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Alparslan Bayraktar, said, according to Anatolia News Agency: “The Iraqi-Turkish oil pipeline is ready for operation as of today, and work will begin soon.”

Bayraktar stated that “the inspection of the oil pipeline has been completed and it will be technically ready for operation soon.”
