Republican candidate for the US presidency Donald Trump announced that he had reached an agreement with Fox News to hold a debate with his Democratic rival Kamala Harris on September 4 in Pennsylvania.
Trump wrote on his page on his Truth Social networking site: “I have agreed with Fox News to hold the debate with Kamala Harris on September 4, the debate will be held in Pennsylvania at a location to be determined.”
Trump and Harris have not been able to agree on a date and channel for the debate between them for weeks, and the second round of the debate was initially supposed to be held on September 10 on ABC, but these plans were for the participation of current US President Joe Biden, who has since decided to withdraw from the electoral race.
Then, Fox News, which is close to the Republicans, offered to hold the debate on its website on September 17, while Trump accuses ABC of sympathizing with the Democrats and spreading fake news.
