Algiers: President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria received Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, in Algiers today. The meeting occurred during the opening of the 56th Algiers International Fair, where Oman is the guest of honour. The minister delivered greetings from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to President Tebboune and expressed best wishes for Algeria’s continued progress and prosperity.
According to Oman News Agency, President Tebboune reciprocated by asking the minister to convey his greetings and appreciation to His Majesty the Sultan for Oman’s participation in the fair. He also extended his wishes for progress and prosperity to Oman and its people.
The discussion focused on the bilateral relations between Algeria and Oman, covering economic, trade, and investment areas. The meeting was attended by Saif bin Nasser Al Badai, Oman’s Ambassador to Algeria; Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rowas, Chairman of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Eng. Dawood bin Salim Al-Hadabi, CEO of Madayn; and Sheikh Saad bin Suhail Bahwan, Chairman of OTE Group and the Algeria-Oman Fertilizer Company.
