Al-Sudani directs a committee to visit Kirkuk with the aim of increasing the storage capacity of the grain receiving centers in Kirkuk

The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, directed a specialized technical committee to visit Kirkuk with the aim of increasing the storage capacity of the grain receiving centers, after the Governor of Kirkuk, Rakan Al-Jubouri, submitted a memorandum to increase the storage capacity of the receiving centers in the governorate during the meeting of the Higher Coordinating Body between the governorates.

The Governor met the members of the committee, which included the Director General of the Planning Department in the Ministry of Agriculture, Dr. Yasser Hassan Saleh, and the Assistant Director General of Commercial Control, Ahmed Fahem, and other members, stressing that the approval of the Prime Minister to send the committee is evidence of keenness, interest and high responsibility to serve the citizen, especially farmers and farmers.

He explained that the current season, which witnessed the marketing of more than 500,000 tons of grain and is still continuing, has proven the importance and status of Kirkuk’s agricultural status and the need to support farmers.
