Al-Sudani comments on the disappearance of an Israeli woman in Iraq: She entered with a Russian passport

Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani revealed today, Thursday, that the security services are following up the disappearance of the missing Israeli citizen in Iraq, indicating that she entered with a Russian passport.

Al-Sudani said during a press interview in New York, with the American network CNN, published by his media office, that “our security services are concerned with ensuring security for all arrivals to Iraq.”

He added, "The woman who entered Iraq with a Russian passport disappeared months ago. We are following up the disappearance. We are serious about uncovering her fate, and we will not tolerate this matter."

Al-Sudani stressed, “Iraq embraces tourist delegations and foreign companies, and the issue of security is a priority and cannot be tolerated.”

It is noteworthy that the Iraqi government has opened an investigation related to the kidnapping of an Israeli-Russian researcher in the country, according to what government Spokesman Bassem Al-Awadi announced.
