The National Security Advisor, Qasim Al-Araji, visited the Head of the Tarmiyah District Tribal Council, Sheikh Saeed Al-Jassem Al-Mashhadani, who was subjected to a failed assassination attempt last Friday.

Al-Araji presented a bouquet of flowers to Sheikh Al-Mashhadani, and also checked on his health condition, wishing him a speedy and complete recovery.

Al-Araji praised the positions of Sheikh Al-Mashhadani and the entire population of Tarmiyah in their confrontation with terrorism, stressing that the security services will pursue the perpetrators to bring them to justice so that they receive their just punishment, appreciating the sacrifices that Iraqis are making to achieve societal peace and protect their areas from terrorist elements.
