The head of Al-Nasr Coalition, Haider Al-Abadi, announced his support for the decisions of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, regarding the repercussions of burning the Holy Quran.
Al-Abadi expressed, in a statement, his “support for the Prime Minister’s decisions regarding the repercussions of burning the Holy Qur’an,” calling on “the European Union to enact legislation deterring any offense against religions and cultures.”
He added, “Sweden must seriously consider the seriousness of its policies, which are inconsistent with the sovereignty of states and the sanctity of religions.
He stressed that “coexistence, security and world peace should not be a prisoner of groups of hatred and advocates of conflicts.”
