A'dhahirah: The Municipal Council of A'Dhahirah Governorate convened for its seventh regular meeting for 2026, focusing on a range of service, organizational, and developmental issues. Key among the topics was the regulation of heavy truck movement and the improvement of traffic safety on the governorate's roads. Proposals discussed included altering truck routes, constructing alternative roads, and designating specific parking areas for heavy vehicles.

According to Oman News Agency, the council also considered establishing a specialized center for autism spectrum disorder and addressed a request for urgent maintenance of the flood protection bridge in the Wilayat of Dhank. In addition, a visual presentation was reviewed concerning the current status and recent progress of the collective livestock farms initiative.

The session concluded with the council examining recommendations from the Social Affairs Committee and the Health and Environmental Affairs Committee, instructing that necessary actions be implemented based on these recommendations.
