Muscat: A’Dhahirah Governorate today launched the summer program for students, organized by the Ministry of Education across various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman. The program will continue until 17 July.
According to Oman News Agency, these summer centers aim to develop educational, recreational, and developmental aspects while reinforcing national and social values. They seek to build participants’ self-confidence, self-esteem, and teamwork skills, in addition to fostering leadership abilities and decision-making. The program provides innovative and enjoyable learning opportunities, teaching new skills such as programming, drawing, and artificial intelligence applications, while promoting entrepreneurship among students.
Furthermore, the centers emphasize instilling values of responsibility and community belonging, organizing volunteer activities to serve society.
In A’Dhahirah Governorate, students were welcomed at centers in the Wilayats of Ibri, Yanqul, and Dank.
