Qalqilya – Ma’an – A child was shot by Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday evening at a military checkpoint southeast of Qalqilya.
Local sources said that the occupation forces fired live bullets at a 16-year-old child while he was near a military checkpoint southeast of Qalqilya, which resulted in his leg being injured. He was taken to the hospital, where his injury was described as moderate.
In a related context, the occupation forces set up “flying” military checkpoints in Qalqilya Governorate.
Eyewitnesses reported that the occupation forces set up a military checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Nabi Elias, east of Qalqilya, and at the entrance to the town of Habla, south of Qalqilya, and detained citizens’ vehicles and checked the IDs of their passengers.
