Baghdad, Detachments of the Anti-Crime Directorate arrested 23 defendants in various criminal cases while conducting security practices in Baghdad.
The Directorate stated in a statement: The detachments of the Baghdad Anti-Crime Directorate arrested an accused in his possession a vehicle bearing a theft sign and wanted by the Ministry of Interior since 2015, an accused wanted for a murder was also arrested within Al-Nahrawan Anti-Crime Office, and an accused of stealing a vehicle was arrested within Al- Rusafa Anti-Crime Office , and two accused were accused of stealing women’s bags in Sadr City, Baghdad, within Al-Habibiyah Anti-Crime Office.”
It added: “Four accused of forging documents, civil status identities, official letters and documents were arrested within the Al-Kadhimiya and Al-Mansour anti-crime offices, and a number of those accused of stealing motorcycles and tik-toks on the Karkh and Rusafa sides of the capital, Baghdad.”
