Muscat, As many as 1216 new cases of coronavirus

(Covid-19) were registered in the Sultanate during the past 24 hours,

in addition to 11 new Covid-19-related death cases.

This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 225,095

in the Sultanate.

The total number of Covid-19-related death cases reached 2424, the

Ministry of Health said.

The Ministry added that 825 new cases have recovered, bringing the

total number to 205,305 recoveries.

The Ministry also pointed out that 114 cases were hospitalized over

the past 24 hours, as the total number of current hospitalized

Covid-19-infected patients stands at 966 of them 297 are in intensive

care units (ICUs).
