Nizwa:The Oman Society for Writers and Literati, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Education in A'Dakhiliyah Governorate, has honored students who excelled in the Society's Award for Literary Creativity for School Students for the 2025/2026 academic year.
According to Oman News Agency, the ceremony took place at the Nizwa Cultural Center and was held under the patronage of Sheikh Mahmoud Rashid Al Saadi, Wali of Nizwa.
The award attracted participation from 442 male and female students across several categories, including poetic recitation, speaking in Classical Arabic, short story writing, literary text analysis, and the composition of Classical Arabic poetry. These categories were divided into three age groups, aiming to discover and nurture literary talents among students while enhancing their skills in the Arabic language and its arts.
