Tunis: President Kais Saied of the Tunisian Republic received Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, at the Presidential Palace today. This meeting was part of the gatherings of Arab Interior Ministers participating in the 42nd session of the Arab Interior Ministers Council.

According to Oman News Agency, the minister conveyed the greetings and best wishes of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to President Saied and the people of Tunisia. In response, President Saied asked the minister to convey his greetings and best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people.

The Tunisian President acknowledged the role of the Arab Interior Ministers Council in coordinating security cooperation among Arab countries. He expressed his hopes for the success of the 42nd session to fulfill the aspirations of Arab leaders and peoples.

The meeting also addressed the efforts undertaken by the Council to maintain the security and safety of Arab countries.
