Muscat: German goalkeeper Marc-Andr© ter Stegen, the shot-stopper for Spanish club FC Barcelona, has completed a loan move to Dutch side Ajax Amsterdam for a duration of one season.

According to Oman News Agency, the German custodian began his professional career with Borussia M¶nchengladbach, where he featured in 127 matches across all competitions over the course of three and a half seasons, prior to his transfer to Barcelona in 2014.

Since joining the Catalan club, he has made 423 appearances in all tournaments with Barcelona, securing a host of major trophies, including the UEFA Champions League and seven La Liga titles.
