Muscat:Al Barakah Palace: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik hosted Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser of the UAE, at Al Barakah Palace today.

According to Oman News Agency, Sheikh Tahnoon conveyed greetings from Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, to Sultan Haitham, along with wishes for his continued good health.

During the meeting, Sultan Haitham reciprocated by sending his greetings to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and expressed his wishes for continued growth and prosperity for the Emirati people.

The discussions covered various topics of mutual interest, aiming to serve the common interests of both nations. The leaders exchanged views on regional developments and explored ways to reduce tensions through diplomatic means, emphasizing the importance of coordination and consultation.

The audience included Omani officials such as HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu'amani, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, and Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi. The Emirati delegation comprised Ali Al Shamsi and Mohamed bin Hassan Al Suwaidi, among other officials.

Sheikh Tahnoon was welcomed and seen off at the Royal Private Airport by HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu'amani, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, the UAE Ambassador to Oman.
