Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of greetings to President Mohammed Shahabuddin of the People's Republic of Bangladesh on the occasion of Bangladesh's independence anniversary.

According to Oman News Agency, in the cable, His Majesty expressed his wishes for further progress and prosperity for Bangladesh. He also conveyed his hopes for the ongoing growth of cooperative and partnership relations between Oman and Bangladesh.
