State Council to Deliberate on Key Development Studies in Upcoming Session

Muscat: The State Council is set to convene tomorrow for its tenth session of the third regular annual sitting of the eighth term, focusing on pivotal development studies pertinent to the Sultanate of Oman.

According to Oman News Agency, the session will feature discussions on a study presented by the special committee concerning "Demographics and Their Impact on the Future of Development in the Sultanate of Oman." This study aims to explore how demographic trends could influence the nation's developmental trajectory.

In addition to demographic considerations, the council will deliberate on another study submitted by the special committee addressing "The Agricultural (Plant) Sector in the Sultanate of Oman: Challenges and Solutions." This discussion seeks to identify existing hurdles in the agricultural sector and propose viable solutions to enhance its productivity and sustainability.

The session will also involve the approval of the minutes from the ninth session of the third regular sitting of the term. Furthermore, the Secretariat General's report on the activities of the Council's bodies during the past period will be reviewed, providing insights into the council's recent undertakings and initiatives.
