Special Economic Zone at Duqm Launches Campaign to Promote Tourist Attractions

Muscat: The Special Economic Zone at Duqm, Al Wusta Governorate, today launched a media and promotional campaign codenamed 'Drop By Duqm' to welcome visitors to Dhofar Khareef (monsoon) season. The campaign aims to encourage travellers and visitors to stop by A'Duqm and explore its diverse tourism landmarks, natural sites, services and assets that abound in the wilayat.

According to Oman News Agency, the campaign seeks to enhance the status of A'Duqm on the tourism map in the Sultanate of Oman and to consolidate its position as a coastal destination that is distinguished for its outstanding coastal climate and relatively moderate temperatures during the summer, in addition to its abundance of beaches, geological formations and sites suitable for marine activities, adventures and camping.

The campaign, which continues during the months of July and August, focuses on initiatives and projects that support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and tourism and service establishments operating in the region.
