Muscat: The “Training of Trainers on the Child Protection Manual” program, organized by the Ministry of Social Development in collaboration with UNICEF, concluded today. The initiative brought together 50 child protection delegates and specialists from various government institutions focused on child affairs.

According to Oman News Agency, the primary objective of the program was to prepare qualified national trainers in the field of child protection from abuse. Participants were provided with the knowledge and skills outlined in the Child Protection Manual, aiming to standardize concepts and procedures in the field. This effort is expected to enhance the efficiency of professionals working in sectors related to child services and protection.

The program also focused on equipping participants with the necessary training skills to transfer knowledge to other staff members, thereby building a national network of trainers.
