Nizwa: The SMEs Development Authority in the Wilayat of Nizwa is organizing a two-day event titled 'Technology and Crafts Exhibition 2026'. The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Sheikh Mahmoud bin Rashid Al Saadi, Wali of Nizwa.

According to Oman News Agency, the exhibition aims to showcase Omani innovative industries, promote the use of modern technologies in developing handcraft products, and provide a platform for marketing and networking among artisans, entrepreneurs, and investors.

The exhibition comprises 15 galleries featuring pottery, weaving, aromatic plant distillation, and the production of perfumes and cosmetics. The event serves as an important initiative to bring attention to the innovative potential within Oman's traditional crafts sector by integrating technology to enhance product development and market reach.
