Muscat: The Shura Council Office held its 16th meeting for the third regular sitting of the tenth term (2023-2027) in Muscat Governorate today.
According to Oman News Agency, the Office reviewed a number of reports from the standing committees, including reports focused on strengthening the knowledge economy and evaluating Omanisation policies and programs within the tourism sector. Additionally, several annual reports from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Economy were examined and subsequently referred to the relevant committees. The Office also reviewed a report from the Foreign Ministry concerning economic diplomacy.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Office approved the agenda for the Council's 18th session, which is scheduled for 29 June 2026.
