Muscat: Sheikh Khalid Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council, held an official session of talks with Prof. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The session focused on enhancing bilateral relations between the Sultanate of Oman and Azerbaijan.

According to Oman News Agency, the discussions underscored the importance of strengthening ties in the economic, cultural, tourism, and legislative sectors. Both parties expressed a commitment to increasing mutual investments and explored methods to enhance coordination and consultation between the councils to benefit the development interests of both countries.
