Boston: Scotland opened their 2026 World Cup campaign with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Haiti in Boston today in their Group Three opener.

According to Oman News Agency, John McGinn scored the only goal of the match in the 28th minute, securing three valuable points for his side in a group that also features Morocco and Brazil, who earlier played out a 1-1 draw.

Scotland now top Group Three with three points, two clear of Morocco and Brazil, while Haiti remains without a point.

Looking ahead, Scotland will face Morocco on 20 June 2026 in their second group-stage match, while Haiti is set to take on Brazil on the same day.
