Salalah: A forum titled “Role of coordinating bodies in partnerships and integration of entrepreneurs with disabilities,” was organized today by Oman Association for Persons with Disabilities (OAPD) in Salalah, Dhofar Governorate. The forum, known as ‘Mutakamiloon’ (integrated), marked the third such event by the OAPD aimed at empowering entrepreneurs within this segment of society.

According to Oman News Agency, the forum’s programme included presentations featuring inspiring stories from entrepreneurs with disabilities, alongside working papers focused on empowering the disabled by providing them with employment opportunities. The event also hosted a dialogue session that discussed the role of public and private establishments in supporting persons with disabilities.

In addition to the discussions, the forum witnessed the signing of several agreements and featured an exhibition showcasing relevant products and services. These initiatives aim to foster partnerships and create an inclusive environment for entrepreneurs with disabilities.
