Muscat: Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office, received David Lammy, the United Kingdom’s Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, along with his delegation in his office today. The discussions focused on reviewing bilateral relations and exploring ways to enhance them for mutual benefit.
According to Oman News Agency, the UK official expressed his deep appreciation for Oman’s diplomatic efforts in mediating regional and international issues, highlighting the Sultanate’s role in fostering dialogue and understanding between different parties. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Oman.
In a separate meeting, Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’amani also welcomed Gen. Michael E. Kurilla, Commander of the United States Central Command. The discussions with the US delegation centered on enhancing bilateral cooperation to bolster the security of both nations. Both sides emphasized the longstanding historical relations between Oman and the United States.
