Muscat: Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, welcomed Abda Sharif, the UK Ambassador to Yemen, at the General Diwan of the Foreign Ministry today. The meeting focused on discussing the current regional and international efforts aimed at stabilizing the situation in the region and supporting Yemeni parties in their quest to reach a political solution to the ongoing conflict in Yemen.

According to Oman News Agency, the discussions between Sheikh Khalifa and Ambassador Sharif highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts to facilitate dialogue and negotiation among Yemeni factions. Both parties emphasized their commitment to supporting initiatives that could lead to a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
