Muscat:The Omani-Pakistani joint military exercise, known as Mountain Lynx / 2, has concluded in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The exercise was conducted by the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), represented by the Southern Oman Battalion, in cooperation with units of the Pakistani Army.
According to Oman News Agency, the exercise involved a practical demonstration at the training grounds of the Pakistani Army. Participants executed a number of joint military drills and field applications in line with the exercise plans, showcasing high levels of competence, combat readiness, and precise execution of joint operation plans.
These joint exercises are part of the Royal Army of Oman's annual training plans, aimed at enhancing the training competence and readiness of its personnel. They also serve to exchange military knowledge with the armed forces of Arab and friendly countries, promoting military integration and cooperation.
The conclusion of Mountain Lynx / 2 was attended by Brigadier Said bin Rashid Al Shukaili, Commander of the 11th Infantry Brigade of the Royal Army of Oman, and Brigadier Raja Afzal Ahmed, Commander of the 104th Infantry Brigade of the Pakistani Army.
