Muscat: Oman's national volleyball team will play a decisive and final group stage match tomorrow, Wednesday (9 September 2026) against Bahrain in the Men's Volleyball Asian Championship being hosted by Japan until 13 September 2026 (Fukuoka 2026). According to Oman News Agency, the championship serves as a qualifier for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics and the World Cup. The match represents Oman's last chance to secure a place in the second round and compete as one of the best third-placed teams. To advance, Oman needs to win three sets to nil-as Japan and Australia have already occupied the two top spots in the group.
